Diploma in Family Medicine (DFM)
COURSE OBJECTIVES ARE TO:
- To train Primary Care Physicians in the management of common conditions presenting to the primary health care, including management of non-communicable diseases.
- To improve the consultation skills of Primary Care Physicians.
- To familiarise them with evidence-based medicine and give them access to available resources and management guidelines.
WHY DFM at KMU?

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- MBBS
- Valid PMDC Registration
- 12 months of House Job in a PMDC recognized hospital
- Candidates already working in public sector primary care are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with a minimum of 6-month experience in primary care will be given preference.
