The 1st year and 2nd year FSc students of Girls Cadet College Peshawar (GCCP) have visited Khyber Medical University on 27th February 2025 (Thursday). The visit was made to learn about the academic environment and exposure to the university’s facilities particularly the laboratories, and inspire them to pursue careers in medicine and allied health sciences. The GCCP cadets were enthusiastic about witnessing firsthand the academic excellence and research opportunities available at KMU.
Mr. Sahir Atiq Deputy Director Academics, Dr. Haji Bahadur Associate Professor IPS, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Senior Lab Technologist and students ambassadors of KMU facilitated the cadets during visit of all the institutes at main campus. They also visited the Public Health Reference Lab, Animal house, Plants research lab and Computer Based Examinations lab of KMU. The cadets were given a brief overview of admissions criteria in all the undergraduate programs including MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Allied Health Sciences. At the end, Mr. Sohail Ahmad, Project Director of GCCP has appreciated the facilitation of KMU for welcoming and arranging such an enlightening visit for the cadets.
